A year of impact in review, exciting announcements, and more! Read more below...
Our 2022 annual impact report is here!

Last year, we invested $18.7 million back in our community! Read our 2022 annual impact report to see what that investment looked like across the communities we serve.

Here is a sneak peek...
  • The number of people we impacted equates to filling Reser Stadium over two times
  • We prevented nearly 1,000 households from facing eviction
  • The energy savings from Weatherization services could power nine homes in our community for over a year
  • Distributed 3.5 million pounds of food to network food pantries and meal sites, with 178,000 pounds sourced from local partner farms
Last year, we launched a new program called Wildfire Fuel Reduction. In partnership with Oregon Conservation Youth Corps and Oregon Department of Forestry, this program provides training and certifications to youth and young adults to perform work in the forests of Linn, Benton, Lincoln, and Polk Counties to reduce the risk of future wildfires.

Through this program, the Linn County crew below was awarded 2022 Volunteers of the Year for their work with Greenbelt Land Trust! We're proud to work with these amazing young folks and keep our local forests and communities safer.

Did you know CSC has water assistance?

In addition to power, gas, and other forms of heating, CSC's Utility Assistance program also provides assistance towards water bills. No shut-off notice or late bill required. Even if you already received a water assistance payment from us before December 2022, you can reapply.

To learn more and apply for water assistance, CALL 541-704-7632 and leave a message.

Please note: Due to funds for power assistance running low nearing the end of the program year, applications are currently not being accepted. If you are at risk of a shut off or need water assistance, please call 541-704-7632 and leave a message.

Kayla Armstrong, CSC Deputy Director

"I am honored to be in the role of Deputy Director for CSC. I have dedicated much of my professional life to work that strengthens and serves Linn, Benton, and Lincoln Counties, as they are near and dear to my heart. I was born and raised in the Willamette Valley and knew I wanted to dedicate my career to giving back to it.

I come to this role with two degrees in Public Health and Public Administration, and spent the last 8 years working for a close partner of CSC, Oregon Cascades West Council of Governments (OCWCOG). I have a passion for building community partnerships and creating impact through collaboration that transforms the communities we serve."

Katie Henry, CSC Finance Director

"I have been working in governmental accounting for over 15 years. With a strong desire to work in an agency that more directly affects the lives of citizens, I was very excited when presented with the opportunity to work with CSC, an organization right in the community my family and I live in.

I enjoy helping local agencies update software and technology as they typically lag behind the private sector due to lack of resources, which is a real disservice to operations. As CSC's Finance Director, I have the perfect opportunity to blend these interests in a way that will improve what we offer the community and how. I'm excited to be here and get going on the work."
